Volunteering

We are a sustainable business, so all our main farm jobs are done by our skilled paid team, but we know that fresh air, beautiful views and a keen team to learn from to are all motivators for those wanting to know more about gardening, flower farming and biodiversity. We offer Work Experience weeks and Volunteer sessions.

Work Experience weeks are usually for those wanting to know more about Gardening or Flower farming, and are a programme of half days at the farm, with suggested back ground reading for those who'd like to know more about Propagation, How to start a business, and the day to day realities of making your living from a flower farm.

We work locally with The Howard of Effingham School for their work experience programme

Volunteering sessions are usually for our Pick your own area, and a couple of hours of weeding, watering or tidying is rewarded with a small bucket of flowers to take home.

We get a slightly tidier and healthier flower farm, our volunteers get fresh air, beautiful views, a keen team to talk to, and the knowledge that they are helping a local business be even more sustainable. Plus an insight into how a flower farm works.

If you are interested in either of these programmes, please "order" through this website, and we'll get back to you, - or email Claire@plantpassion.co.uk with some information about what you'd like to do, and we'll get back to you.
